Here is how the software works:

Place the item to be digitized on the tablet.
Start the Fast Estimating software program
Input the scale units, English or metric
Input the scale or calculate the scale from the plans by digitizing a known distance.
Choose to digitize area, length, perimeter, counts, multiple line segments or sum of line segments
Digitize the item using the digitizing tablet Digitizing can be point to point, or continuous curves.
Digitized items are displayed on screen while digitizing
The software calculates the item from the digitized data. Repeat for other items.
Reports	Print a report with a image diagram of the digitized data and a table of results results.
File Save	Save the digitized data for later use and editing
If needed, press the Excel button in the software to copy the results to Excel. Single values or the entire results can be copied.
The Take-Off results are inserted into the Excel spreadsheet

Data Export	Easily export the data to the clipboard and paste into other software programs
